U Is For Unread Books!

Welcome to Day 21 of the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge here at Reading on the F Train.  Today's topic is Unread Books!

My physical TBR pile

I recently tweeted a photo like this--it's changed a little since then, but I think I've added more than I've read.

Plus:

Yup.  Friends, I'm in trouble.  Awesome trouble.

How do you decide which book to read next when your pile of unread books is threatening to take over your house?

  1. Hahahahahaha! *sigh* I am so in the same boat. My physical TBR shelf is seriously ridiculous and then there's my Kindle... I wish all of the new releases could just be put on pause for a moment so I have time to read what I have and just get caught up. There's always a handful of books coming out that I'd like to read, and then I look over at my shelf and think "When is this all going to happen?" I suppose there are worse problems to have, right? :)

  2. How do I decide? Good question! Your TBR pile is much more impressive than mine--I'm both jealous and not! I'm with Jaime, I wish the new releases would pause for a bit so we could all catch up...ahh, book lovers' problems.

  3. It is awesome trouble :) I look through titles and see what grabs me, maybe read the first few lines. I try making lists of what to read next, but it never works for me.

  4. My TBR is so out of control right now, I feel a little overwhelmed! My physical TBRs aren't in one big pile so I think I will do that when I get home, and try to come up with an order to read them. It's so hard when so many good books come out every week!

  5. I swear the books on my TBR list multiply like rabbits or Gremlins or something. Seeing as there's plenty to choose from, I usually pick whatever book I'm in the mood for, but there are some other deciding factors. I sometimes get books from the library, so when I read those depends on when they're available and when they're due. I've been trying to stay on top of my Debut Author challenge books, so those have been priority. And it's hard to resist the lure of sequels I've been waiting for.

  6. I just grab whichever one appeals most to me at the moment and realize I have the happy problem of never reaching the bottom of the pile! ;-) New follower here. I'm stopping by from the "A to Z" challenge and I look forward to visiting again.
